A few words about me…

Sergio RinconThese last years I’ve been trying to keep updated several personal blogs but thanks to god I’ve been very clear when a month ago I decided to close all of them and just express  the personal meaning of my artworks.

I have few more things to explain to people. In the meaning of my artworks are the hidden words I would like to say to the world.  Just this. Living in Sitges, a little village close to Barcelona, is not very difficult to get the inspiration of painting,  surrounded by a huge number of artists living close to me, always ready to show people the way artists all over the world live and work here.

Since my early years drawing and painting “not very usual” thoughts, I decide to express myself with words, signs, drawings and paintings after studying a huge number of great masters of painting like Pablo Picasso, Antoni Tapies, Miquel Barceló, Jackson Pollock, Basquiat, Motherwell or Cy Twombly.

Most of them inspired me to start creating step by step my own way of expression. I express my thoughts through abstract paitings, being for me, the most important way to express my feelings to other people. Not very usual, but it’s me. My emotions are always an important part of the work although you never know if dreams inside the artwork are coming or gone.

I use to work at my home studi9  and I love to do it over my huge painting desk or my easel. But when I really enjoy is working with matters or painting over the floor. Painting and dripping colors over the canvas or wood  is how I really create with more intensity.

I was born in Barcelona August 10th, 1968. I love my village, my friends, my family, specially  Mafer  and my two kids, Jan and Marc, and my dog “Cel”.

I’m a passionate collector of animation art and comic art. That’s all about me. I hope you like my artwoks.

Sergio Rincón.

  1. Howdy! I simply want to give a huge thumbs up for the nice data you’ve got right here on this post. I can be coming back to your blog for extra soon.

  2. From my own experiences with natural disasters (Brisbane 2011) I would add that if you are physically capable and it is safe to do so, don’t forget to lend a hand to your neighbour or volunteer to aid local clean-up crews. Work with the local authorities and see where your help is needed, because it will be needed. Helping hands are a precious commodity after a disaster, make sure you give time to those less fortunate if you are in a position to do so.

  3. Oh man, sieht das lecker aus! Wird auf jeden Fall demnächst mal ausprobiert… Aber ich denke, dass ich das Hähnchenbrustfilet noch mit einer leichten Schärfe marinieren werde.

  4. I LOVED THE PICTURES OF YOUR FAMILY – GREAT PICTURES AND A GREAT FAMILY – I LOVE YOUR WRITINGS – ERIC – GOD HAS GIVEN YOU A GREAT MINISTRY IN WORDS AND LEADERSHIP – THANKS FOR SHARING THEM – GOD BLESS YOU.
